The leading provider of reprographic services including blueprint processing, other large format engineering copying and large format digital color imaging. Primarily services the architectural, engineering and construction industries.

Industrial Equipment Services

A provider of electrical contracting services and industrial equipment rigging, erecting, installation and repair, and electrical contracting services.

BoxUSA, Inc.

Packaging

Based in Chicago, BoxUSA was the nation’s largest independent manufacturer of corrugated containers, operating through 21 converting facilities in 15 states. BoxUSA was acquired by International Paper in 2004.

Chicago Steel

Metals

Specialty processor of cold rolled steel coils. Provides tension leveling, coating, and other related services to U.S. steel manufacturers.

C&M Core Distributors

Automotive Parts Distribution

Distributor of branded and private label automotive products including heating, air conditioning and brake components. C&M was sold to Modine Manufacturing in 1998.

Dyna Pak Corp.

Packaging

Manufacturer of vertical and horizontal case packing machinery for the corrugated box market. Sold to Dover, Inc. in 1998.

Energes Services, LLC.

Energy

Oil field services company providing construction, maintenance and water hauling services to major oil & gas producers operating in the Niobrara basin.

Gourmet Boutique

Food Services

Processor and distributor of fresh foods and salads into Grocery chains, delis and bodegas in the New York metro area.

A leading childrens’ apparel brand.

Home Care Industries, Inc.

Consumer Products

A consumer products company engaged in the manufacture of floor care products, including vacuum cleaner bags, filters and carpet cleaning products, sold throughout the U.S. and Canada through mass merchants, specialty retailers and grocery chains. HomeCare was sold to a strategic investor in 2013.

KapStone Paper & Packaging, Inc.

Packaging

A leading North American producer of unbleached kraft paper products, linerboard and shipping containers. KapStone was founded by Arcade principals and management in 2005 as a public company and is now NYSE listed (KS).

Kaye Group, Inc.

Commercial Insurance

Commercial property and casualty insurance broker and underwriter. Sold to HUB Group (NYSE: HBG) in 2001.

Life-Like Productions, LLC.

Packaging Material

Manufacturer of expanded polystyrene foam products including packaging materials, building products, and picnic coolers. Life-Like also markets model trains, racing sets and accessories to both the hobby and mass markets. Sold to American Capital in 2004.

An Atlanta-based provider of outsourced non-emergency transportation services for third party payors such as government agencies and managed care organizations. This business was sold to Charterhouse Equity Partners in 2004.

McDowell International Packaging Systems

Packaging

Florida-based manufacturer of packaging machinery equipment including RSC case erectors, sealers and case packers for the corrugated box industry. Sold to Dover, Inc. in 1998.

Metro Franchising

Restaurants

Operator of Dunkin Donuts® and Baskin Robbins® franchises in the metro New York City area. Sold to an international family office in 2014.

NEC, Inc.

Printing Services

Provider of pre-press and image processing services to the high-end magazine publishing industry. Services include color separation, image manipulation and assembly of graphics and text.

Polycast Technology Corporation

Plastics

Manufacturer of cell cast acrylic sheet. Polycast’s products are used in the aerospace industry (both commercial and military), as security glazing in banks and other financial institutions and in the building and furniture industries. This business was sold in 1994.
